This development aims at the creation of 20 dairy farms, 5 bull farms, a dairy processing plant, a veterinary service, a HACCP slaughterhouse, a tannery, a rendering facility and the planting of 40,000 acres of feed corn for silage. The project is supported by sector specific companies from Germany and will create over 2,000 jobs in Ghana. It includes biogas, solar energy, water management, and several other related activities. The goal of the project is NOT to create a competition for existing activities but to boost what is already in place and to fill the gaps of what is missing.
