I am delighted to join this group. My name is Takele Teshome, Executive Director of a national NGO called Association for Sustainable Development Alternatives (ASDA). I am an agriculturist by profession and did my Masters degree in Agricultural Extension. Since population is increasing, climate risk and food and nutrition insecurity increasing, the use of mechanization is a critical need. Shift from rain fed agriculture to irrigated agriculture, focus on high value crops such as vegetable and fruits are perishable which demands proper crop protection measures and post harvest management. Hence availing appropriate mechanization service, semi mechanization, food processing equipment/machine are beneficial
