In reply to ernest butias. Yes, you can plant them after the test. In fact, some seeds are taken through a similar process to pre-germinate them before they are planted in the field.

The conditions for seeds to germinate do not include nutrients.
In other words, seeds do not need nutrients (external) to germinate.

simple and easy. but are u saying by soaking the seeds in water, only water is required for germination perhaps coupled with some sunlight exposure. what of the nutrients?

In reply to Teddy Acquah. Yes, you can. But why would you want to use compost, rabbit droppings and sawdust? The rabbit droppings must be well decomposed and the sawdust must be free from plant diseases. Vegetables are delicate crops.
